Comfortable, small-scale dog boarding

At Norton Valleys Dog Barn in Colfax Wisconsin, we provide a clean, peaceful, and family-run retreat where your pet enjoys individualized care, climate-controlled comfort, and safe outdoor exercise.

What makes our facility special

We keep our boarding intentionally small so every guest receives personal attention. Our purpose-built environment balances cozy rest with active exercise in a clean, low-stress setting.

Climate-controlled comfort

Private indoor/outdoor kennels equipped with heated floors, air conditioning, air circulation fans, Kuranda raised beds, and privacy panels to ensure restful sleep in all seasons.

Secure outdoor exercise

Spacious, fully fenced play areas provide plenty of room to stretch legs, breathe fresh Wisconsin air, and participate in engaging outdoor activity multiple times a day.

Personalized attention

Because we host a limited number of guests, we learn your dog's distinct personality, feeding schedule, and care requirements, housing them solo or with compatible companions.

A structured, caring daily routine

From early morning potty breaks and breakfast to afternoon play sessions and quiet evening rest, we follow a dependable schedule designed to help dogs settle in quickly and feel right at home.

What to pack for your dog's stay

To ensure a smooth transition, please bring your dog's regular food labeled with their name, plus favorite treats and clearly labeled medications with written dosing instructions. For safety reasons, we welcome hard toys only—please leave blankets, bedding, and plush toys at home. All guests must provide current vaccination records for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella prior to check-in.

Peace of mind while you are away

Leaving your dog should not cause worry. Our experienced family team closely tracks dietary intake, bathroom habits, and overall comfort, ensuring every guest feels safe and loved during their stay in Spring Valley.
